[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Variable size flashlight mounts

I was looking for some solid, dependable (somewhat inexpensive) flashlight mounts that have variable size adjustment... not just specific sizes for Surefire or other brand lights.

What are you all using for inexpensive but solid flashlight mounts? Will a scope ring work?

VTAC, uses an insert for scaling down from a 1-inch dia. light.
Durable as hell for the money involved.
