I tried perusing the info here and there is just a tone of info that gave me a headache trying to sift through it all. So I would like to ask you guys for some help...
Here is what I am building: an 18 in SPR for the purpose of target shooting 100-300 yds. and hunting varmints, pigs, and deer etc. I have had experience with the following scopes: Simmons, BSA, Tasco, and an EOTech. I am looking to spend a little more on my optics this time. I am looking at a Leupold, Nikon, Bushnell, and a Vortex. I am looking to spend about 5-700 on the scope. My experiences have been with 6-18 or 24 power and 4-12 or 16 power scopes. Some I am looking at are: Leupold 6-18x40 AO Mark 2 T1 can get for 630 Nikon 5-20x44 Monarch BDC (draw back of 1/2 MOA) can get for 530 Nikon 2.5-10x50 Monarch BDC 1/4 MOA can get for 480 Bushnell Elite 4200 6.5-24x50 Mil-Dot can get for 600 Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 or 50 PA Mil-Dot can get for 479 & 509 Can you guys recommend a mount???
