Sincerely Eric Lockhart Trijicon Customer Service Rep 1-800-338-0563 x148 Well, this is not what I have heard previously? |
| How can a BDC be designed around a 14.5" barrel and an 18" barrel at the same time, mounted on weapons with perhaps different height over bore specs for their receivers? When I called Trijicon they confirmed these 1000m BDCs were designed for the SAW. The email sent to me, contradicts this. It must be one, or the other. |
| Well this is not match shooting we are talking about. The Marines here at Lejeune have tested the RCO A4 and M4 on the opposites weapon and found that the average shooter once zeroed will shoot the same score with a RCOA4 mounted on a M4 and a RCOM4 mounted on the A4. They are suppose to be calibrated however the average shooter, using the average weapon and average ammo both do the same job just as well. A SAW is a bullet hose and this ACOG if made for the SAW is designed to make the target more visible to the shooter so he can engage and corrections will still need to be made by using a spotter or walking the rounds to the target. These are made for field use, not paperpunching and SAWs have rails on the receiver in the same location, barrels can be different but it is better than iron sights. |
