Looking for a 45-degree offset mount for my Fastfire for the top rail. Saw that Brownells might have one –– does anyone know anything about it or have an image?

Anyone else have something that will work? Know Larue has the half ring with the built-in base, but only obviously works with their integral QD mounts they sell.

I mounted my Fastfire II, using the Picatinny cage to a Yankee Hill Machine 5-slot 45 degree angle mount.  I just zeroed it yesterday and am quite pleased with the outcome.  I don't have any pictures but there are pics up of a similar setup on the Militarymorons dot com site.

Thanks for the advice & referral! Found exactly what can work in my application to use the dot in CQB-type situations.

I'm running a Fastfire II.  I have it enclosed in the Burris Picatinny cage to protect it.  So far I am quite pleased but I have no illusion that I have a $200.00 dollar optic, not a Doctor or other more durable and expensive optic.  I am using this on a Saturday gun, not a combat weapon and my expectations are such.

I'm just going to initially setup with the standard mount & see how I like it. For hunting purposes, going to try it on squirrels here yet before the leaves all are gone. Other than this, will just be some plinking.
