| Has anyone seen any flip covers for the Aimpoint Micro T-1 OTHER than the integrated ones on the GG&G mount? |

Has anyone seen any flip covers for the Aimpoint Micro T-1 OTHER than the integrated ones on the GG&G mount? To my knowledge the ONLY way to mount a rear cover is to use the GGG mount. The front of the T-1 will take a cover, but you need the GGG to mount a rear cover! ATTN: Mark LaRue, PLEASE come out with a LaRue version! PursuitSS |

I don't doubt that GG&G makes a great product. But like mentioned above... It's heavy, and if that was not a problem, I'd get a m4. I want small lightweight and compact sight and the GG&G mount seems to negate those qualities albeit quite "cool" looking.
I'm starting to wonder about those rings that are "holding the glass" on the sight. (I assume that's what they are doing) Can those be removed? Will that ruin the sight or break seal that can't be fixed after being broken? |

It will have to extend to or beyond each end of the sight to basically encapsulate it, just like the GG&G. The reason the LaRue is so much lighter is because it's a simple little block. |

You only need to add a mounting area on the rear of the T-1. it already will mount a cover on the front. The GGG mount doesn't change the front of the T-1. |
