Say, any of you gents know what type of steel the Matech sight's flimsy screw is made out of? When I got mine back in 2003, I promptly snapped the mounting screw because I was stupid and didn't read the manual. When to the local hardware store and bought some cheap galvanized screws, snapped one of them too with just as much ease, which leads me to believe the factory supplied screw isn't much, if any better than the el cheapo hardware store screws.
I'm looking into making or finding a mounting screw with much stronger material. TIA
