New guy here needs some advise.  I am in the process of setting up a DPMS sportical 223 with a red dot sight system for shooting hogs on the run.  Ranges would be mostly within 100yds but also want the ability  to shoot longer ranges.  I have pretty much settled on a Aimpoint M3 with the 2moa dot.  Which Larue mount will  work the best considering that I might want to add a magnifier later?

Any other suggestions would be apprieciated.

LT129 will leave you the most real estate for a magnifier.

the lt-150 will also work fine but the 129 will give you about an extra 1/2" or so of forward mount.

The LT129 is a great mount for your needs.  Any cantilever-style mount is designed to provide extra room behind the Aimpoint for other optics like magnifiers or night vision.

Just got mine about a month ago.  I got the ML3 with the 4MOA on the Larue standard LT150 mount. Do not have a magnifier yet but plan on getting one soon.

Here are two reticle shots, one with the power turned down the other turned all the way up.
