[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Primary Arms Magnifiers

Not sure if I want to use a flip mount magnifier so I was looking for a cheaper alternative to an Eotech or Aimpoint . I see Primary Arms make a 3X and a 5X. How do these magnifiers stack up? Good, bad or otherwise. Why?

I have a Primary Arms 3X in a LaRue flip mount behind my EOTech. The glass is clear and the setup was around $250. Half the price of the EOTech in an inferior flip mount.

Glade to hear the glass is good. I was thinking of the same set up. I would like the 5X with my 308 rifle but by the looks of it may be just to big.
