I want to use one of these as my optic on my PS90.
Which one would be better? And why do you think one is better than the other. |
| I have a TNVC RDP II, and it's a nice sight, handles recoil very well, and holds zero well. The main reason I chose it over any other in its size category, was for the 1MOA dot versus the larger dot that other Mfgs offer. The dot is easy to pick up in daylight, and stays lit in very low light situations. I've never owned a Fastfire though, so I hope this info helps in some way. |

Does anyone have one of these? I've got one of the RDP-II, and it won't hold zero. It continually creeps up. A buddy of mine has the Burris, and he has zero problems with it. I haven't had that problem, any chance you have a bad unit? Have you contacted TNVC to see if they will take care of it? I only ask because I am curious about how they handle their customer service. |

I have not contacted TNVC. I think the vertical adjusting screw just works it's way loose after a few rounds. I think that if I loctited them in place, my issue would be resolved, but I haven't done it yet. What I'll probably end up doing is loctiting the screws, and then move it to my mall ninja .22 (not necc. in that order). Then get a Vortex Strikefire for my midlength. |

Sight adjustment screws shouldn't need loctite! I'd contact TNVC before doing that. You'll run a high risk of stripping the screws when you need to adjust it. Also a tag, my curiosity is peaked on the RDP-II. ETA - on laptops, there appears to be some kind of blue material on screws. It doesn't appear to be loctite, more of a waxy material that stays on the screw even after a few dis assemblies. Dunno what the stuff is though. |

If you haven't contacted Victor at TNVC - - your bad for publicly complaining before you give him a chance to recitfy the problem...which he will. TNVC ALWAYS gives top notch service!! Just sayin'... This is what I was thinking, but I have never needed to contact them after purchasing one of their products. I will say that I had a few questions before I was ever a customer, and they were answered very promptly, another reason why I chose to purchase from them. ETA: I guess my experience translates into great pre-customer service; which indicates that their CS can only be as good. |
