| Where is the best postion on the rail for mounting the Aimpoint M2. forward, back or center on the rail over the reciever...I know that there is unlimited eye relief but I am sure that one postion is best...Looking for feedback to help me save time and ammo in getting the system set. |

the mount i use for the M2 is the military issue type with spacer - i mount it so that the front of the base of the mount is flush with the front of the upper receiver rail (not the forearm rail) this gives me enough space to mount a BUIS to co witness and leave enough room to put the BUIS up and down smoothly. i will check when i get my big hard drive back but i think this is the NSN 1240-01-410-7427 ETA - my pic posting - fu is weak today |
