| Anyone have one, thoughts???? I just saw these on AIM's site, and thought about picking one up. I've been wanting a affordable folding rear site, to use with my Vortex Strikefire on my 5.45 AR..... |
| I happened to talk to magpul today about this sight, they stated that their front sight CAN NOT be mounted on a gas block due to heat issues. Also they stated that the front and rear sight set has to be mounted on the same rail plain or massive apature adjustments will need to be made. The construction is nice, and they work well, and the price is great, just be sure to account for these small quirks on your build. |

Yes. They are very solid/durable. The one thing I dont like is how you have to crank up the front sight post almost to where its sticking up past the ears. Front sight is also not very easy to adjust without a specific tool. But it does function well. I agree 100% with this statement. I have also found that mine do not lay completely flat against the upper when they are folded down. |
