I've got a 16in AR with a carry handle, and I'm looking to put a Vortex Strikefire on it. From what I understand, a gooseneck mount is the best way to put it at a normal height/retain the use of the iron sights.

There are a couple of different gooseneck mounts I've found online, all at different prices. At this point I'm leaning towards the ARMS version, it runs about $60. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I've picked up used Aimpoint gooseneck mounts from EE for as little as $20 each in the past –– good mounts, esp. at that price (unless you specifically want to buy new).
