| Ok guys, I finally have bought a Burris FF for my rifle, and now need a low-profile BUIS. I am leaning towards a KAC 300 meter sight, or maybe a GG&G MAD. Both are low profile, and not overkill for my needs. Is there another low-profile BUIS that I might have a look at? I am looking for ideas that will fold completely down and out of the way. |

What about Midwest Industries low profile BUIS? Or Troy (supposedly the King of BUIS)?
Just an opinion from a personal experience: I got a couple of Midwest Industry folding rear BUIS, but decided to drink Troy cool aid based on what I've read around here. Well, maybe Troy is a bit better, but in retrospect, I should have saved my $$$ and stuck with the Midwest Industries BUIS. Some people advised me to stay with the MI, but I ignored them and went ahead to spend $300+ on a couple of Troys. Troy BUIS is a very good one, but the Midwest Industry BUIS that I had were very good also and cheaper. YMMV |
