I hear that the 552 has line so you can gauge the bullet drop out to 600 yards or so. Is this the one that has it for them that is reasonaly priced?

You're talking about the EOtech 557 and you should be able to find a used one for $400-$450.

The 557 has 3 dots and the new XPS has 2 dots. Not sure if that XPS BDC model is out yet.

That would be the 557 they are very nice sight but you need the magnifier to us the BDC dots or you will not be able to see them. To the necked eye it looks like a line.
