I know the Army DMR uses the TA31 but are the BDCs for ACOG like the TA11 calibrated for a certain barrel length?  I am putting together a DMR clone..20 inch barrel, flat top...plan to shoot 77s and 75s out of it...
Anyone know good prices on ACOGs for a service member?

The TA11 calibrated for 308 is reportedly a good fit for a flattop AR15 shooting the heavier 75-77 grain loads.  Though I'm sure most stadia crosshairs on any ACOG would still deliver center mass hits.  It's all a crude holdover anyway, so I wouldn't let the matter keep you up at night.  If you're kicking up dust 20 feet in front of your target at 600 yards just aim a little higher for the next one!  You have 30 chances to gitrdone!

Stay safe out there!
