Hi I just sighted in my Aimpoint at 50 yards today. I find that I shoot with it better when the dot setting is at 6 olock that is the mark on the switch is straight down and the dot is not so bright. I wear glasses and my visiion is not so hot. But when I turn the dot up to a brighter setting the dot starts to bloom and the dot looks oblong. you shooters that wear glasses to correct your vision what settings do you use? I was able to get some tight groups at first but then they open up, my eyes are straining. Any advise will help. This is the first time shooting with aimpoint so any tips will help. Thanks |

Depends.
For zeroing I turn the dot way down until I can barely see it. I find that doing that allows for better definition of the dot. For action shooting I turn up the dot until it blooms and then back down. I find the bright dot faster to acquire under stress. BSW |
