After reading tons of material online. I've decided to go with the Eotech 516, since it seems to be the best option for CQC. The main difference between the 516 and the 517 is the type of battery that it would accept. Do you guys see any advantage to getting the 516 over the 517 or vice versa?

The 516 is more compact and its convienient if you have a light that runs of 123`s.
