I need suggestions for choosing a fixed power scope in either 16 or 20 power, something with top quality glass.

Dunno about top quality but alot of people like the swfa super sniper scopes, they run about 300 bucks the 20 power is only 279.00 new. they can be had in 10, 16, and 20 power. Of course you can get much better glass, for fixed glass they are pretty good.

I have a 10x SS and it's quality far supercedes it's cost.  If I were looking for a fixed 16 or 20x I would definately look at a SS.

I have a 16x Super Sniper on my dedicated paper punching Remington 700 .223. It is a great scope for the price.

Stupid question.  Why is the 20x power less expensive than the 10x power?

+1

Why would you want a 20X scope?
