Anyone have experience with carry handle scopes like the old Colts?  Source for the old Colt 3 or 4x's?  Barska and Leapers now make knockoffs for cheap, anyone have one and are they worthwhile?  Other options would be a one-piece mount with rings and a decent 1-4x small scope.
Any advice?

m4sarecool, If you have the cash get an Acog if not  the Burris AR-332 will attach right to C/H. It was due at dealers in April still a no show.

I don't have a scope, but I have a Prismatic attached to my A-2 permanent carry handle using ARMS mount.  It works great, but at first I found it very awkward aiming through the optic from the prone.  That is because by installing the optic on the carry handle, it is positioned at a higher level than using a flat top or if you're used to hunting rifles.  It all became a "second nature" (I got used to it) after spending lots of time in the prone position looking through the optic, though.

If you insist on having compact scopes, why don't you check out Leupold or Weaver compact scopes?  If batteries does not "scare" you and if magnification is not a must, why not go with Aimpoint Micro T-1 or H-1?  What about Mini ACOGs?
