[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Front sight Gas Block??

I am looking to take my front sight off of my A4 Bushmaster and need some opinions on which gas block to use. Any pics would be great also.

I removed my pinned FSB only because it was already "shaved" from Bushy. PRI or the ARMS unit would probably be best, but for 80 bucks this YHM is really nice. The finish match is perfect, and it has been reliable, so far..

Do you have an FF handguard? PRI, Vltor or ARMS would be my choice.

ARMS

Or you can try to find a KAC, but the FSB pin holes may not line up with your barrel.

It should work with a standard handguard cap but I haven't tried, it looks like the pivoting arm, when folded, extends over the base, I'm not sure if it would hit the handguard cap or not.

As to the ARMS statement, ARMS levers can and have broken, their sights have been fine, and no negative reports on their front sight surfaced yet that I know of.

It should, but I'd stay away from UTG firstly, and cheaper than dirt secondly.

I have a PRI gas block front sight mounted on one of my 24" barrelled hunting rifles.
It is really excellent but I admittedly rarely use the sight because it is only there as a backup to
a high quality hunting optic that has yet to fail.
