This might be a stupid question but I am kind of new at this.  I have an Aimpoint ML3 and I am trying to put the rubber cover over it.  What is the easiest way to get the lens caps over off?  I was tugging at them but didnt know if I needed to twist or if there was a better way of getting them off.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

don't grab them by the hinging cover.  rock them back and forth.  they're snug, but it'll come off.  you'll have to take off the zeroing caps to put the cover on too
