[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Newbie needs some help.

Hey guys, this is my first post here so please take it easy on me. I just recently purchased my first AR-15.

I bought the RRA CAR A4. it has a flat top with no rear iron sight. I just recently bought a cheapie red dot to go on it and it seems that it sits extremely low. When I look through, the red dot sits about halfway up he front post.

My question would be does anyone know of a good riser or am I going about this the wrong way?

Any advice would be appreciated.
