I'm rather stuck on what to do so I figured I'd come to you experts.  I have an Aimpoint on my flattop RRA along with the iron sights.  I ordered this gun with the flip up front sight from RRA and ordered a MATECH for the rear.  I was in hopes of being able to line up the iron sights with the Aimpoint's red dot.  However, the Aimpoint sits way below the line of sight of the iron sights.  I have a photo that I'm going to try to post so you guys can see what I'm talking about because in this case I suspect a photo really is worth a 1000 words.  My Aimpoint is mounted to the top rail with an ARMS quick release mount.  By the way I look at this I'm going to need some kind of a "riser block" to bring the Aimpoint into line with the iron sights?  Am I on track with this thought?  If so who sells something like this?  If this is not the way to go and there is a better way please direct me.

Thanks in advance and if someone could help me post the photo I'm sure it would explain my delema much better than I have.

Why would you want the iron sights in the way of your field of view?

Just zero the irons and keep them down and out of the way and use your optic.

Yes a photo will be helpful, but it sounds like you are missing the ARMS spacer. When you look through the irons sights, you are currently looking through the top of the Aimpoint correct?

{When you look through the irons sights, you are currently looking through the top of the Aimpoint correct?}Yup That's the problem.  Also I don't have any way to link the photo as I don't have any On Line photo service.  I guess I'd have to e mail it to someone to have it posted.  I'm not sure why I can't post these photos???

Because, when and if, the Optic ever goes down I'd like to be able to see the (BUIS) Back Up Iron Sights through the Aimpoint.

If it is a Aimpoint Micro, you would need the ARMS spacer for the ARMS Aimpoint Micro mount.

Unfortunately, you don't say what Aimpoint model you are having the issue with.

Sorry I didn't realize there were that many models.  Mine is AIMPOINT® COMPM2 - M68/CCO

My Aimpoint M2 on LaRue LT-129 cantilever QD mount

Just get the LaRue cantilever mount, buy once, cry once, it even have the M68 CCO markings to match the model of your Aimpoint.

It have a lower 1/3 co-witness so you will see your iron sights at the lower third of the field of view, it's out of the way but could be used quickly when needed in an emergency.

You could sell your old mount at the Equipment Exchange or keep it as you wish.

Then yes, you need the ARMS full spacer for a lower 1/3rd co-witness.

Just one more thing.  Where would I get this spacer?  I'm looking to purchase right away and I don't make regular purchases along these lines so I'm not sure of the best place to go for such a thing.

I really do appreciate all the help.
