I have a revision F Eotech 511A65(?) manufactured in january 2005. It's the armored Ncell with buttons on the back.

The reticle fades from view when it gets near the edges––only directly in the center is the circle-dot reticle entirely visible.

The windage and elevation adjustments have almost no "feel" or "click" to them.  I actually have to visibly watch the dial and detents to even tell it is changing position when I turn them.  I already sent it back to Eotech for this, and it is the same as before.

New batteries = no difference.

I had two Bushnell Holosights that looked just like this Eotech (sold them to get this), and they had very positive click adjustments and the reticle was fully visible anywhere in the glass.

The adjustments on mine don't click either, they just turn.As for your reticle issue, that I can't say but mine doesn't do it.

I have two 552s and neither has the fading problem or clicks for windage/elevation.

When I did have a problem with one of my scopes, I was pleased as punch with EoTech's service.

Eotech took a look at it and fixed it for free.  I had it back within a week!  The new CS rep there is much better than the lady that was there last year.

I have not tried the click adjustments yet, but am not so concerned since others seem to be "clickless".  The image is MUCH better now.

They did not.  It is the same device, just works like it should now.
