I'm going to sight in my front A2 sight.  On the A2 post it says "UP" and then there is a counter-clockwise arrow.  OK just to be clear -  "up" (ie CC rotation) of the sight will cause the sight to go up, thus the point of impact of the bullet to go down, right?

Same thing for the windage, moving the rear sight to the right will push the bullet point of impact to the left?

Sorry just wanted to be clear before I have to futz around tools in the cold....

You have it backwards: the "up" and "right" markings refer to the impact point of the bullet, not which way the sight moves. For example, if you are shooting low, turning the adjustment knob in the "up" direction will move the point of impact up. The same applies to the "right" setting.
