Got my first A4 today (RRA mid-length, SS bbl.). Looking for some great BUIS. What's your humble opinion on who's sights really do rock? Any opinions on which ones to avoid?
Thanks for all perspectives. |

Why Troy? What makes them the best? Don't you have to keep something with you for adjusting them? I have two Troys on my two general purpose carbines. What makes them better: - No levers or springs to fumble with under stressful situations - It have a more robust thicker material and stays locked in the up position, you have to push a button to fold it - It have a zero canting attachment system for picatinny rails - Protected windage adjustment wheel - won't accidentally changed - No tools required for windage adjustment (I use bullet tips for easier adjustments) - Dual same plane aperture - Large aperture is first used when flipped up - 6061 alloy aircraft aluminum and stainless steel materials with Milspec finish - .460" low profile height when folded I like them better than my KAC 300m and LMT fixed BUIS. |

Thanks Alpha-Romeo3. Nice set of points. Thanks everyone. Seems that Troy is the ONE. |

Im very happy with my MI or midwest industries sights,I have both front and rear. The rear I think is one of the lowest profile sights you can get in a folding sight. Its the SPLP one.I picked up both for around $200.00.

I've got a ARMS #40L mounted on my carbine at the moment. I've used this model many times down range and really like it. However, there are times I like to shoot irons at long range (500-600yds) with my 14.5". Since my Aimpoint is mounted in front of the reciever and compactness isn't nesseray I may put a Matech on.
