i Know there are probably a thousand discussions on here about this but i don't want to search through tons of pages.
i just read "fighting carbine optics" great article. i was fixing to buy an eotech next week but after reading what people wrote i think i am going to have to go with an Aimpoint.
so what is the best optic for an AR. hopefully under 500. i dont want anything to small.

Under $500..........get a CompM2 or ML2 with a QRP mount.  Just over $500, get a M4/M4s.

Are you going to use your gun deep underwater often?  Are you going to use night vision?  If you answered no to both of these questions, get a Comp C3 and spend the rest on ammo/mags/training.

congratulations for you. im sorry that i am new to Red dot optics and trying to learn as much as i can. and before i go out and spend 500 dollars on something. i am going to try to find out pros and cons on a product. but i am very happy for you that you can go around trying to trash people when they ask questions. so unless you have something to say about my topic then find somewhere else to try and get an ego boost from.
but for everyone else who is not trying to be an dick. i appreciate the input...
