| I recently purchased an Eotech 552.65 Sight and 3X Magnifier. They are mounted on a S&W M&P with a flat rail top. The magnifier is on a flip-to-side mount and therefore sits up slightly higher then the sight. I've been looking at the LT 110 LaRue Tactical Eotech QD Mount LT as a possible solution. Is this mount my best choice? |

Welcome to the board. That exact set-up is what that mount is designed for. If you want more information, check out the Larue forum in the industry section, or email Larue directly from their site. I use the mount, which is great, but I don't currently use a magnifier.

That mount is designed to lift the EOTech to get the irons in the lower 1/3, and to be used with a Nightvision system. It was not designed for the 3x. If your 3x is seeting a bit high now, it will really be high with that mount.
Your 3x, would be mounted on the little pedestal on the back, thus putting it even higher than it already is.
