So I see people with side mounted red dot/fixed power optic combos all the time, anyone tried a long eye relief scope side mounted on a rail before with a red dot as a primary optic? Would there be a reason why you couldn't do this setup since the scope isn't following the trajectory of the round? What accuracy would it be capable of? I understand people do this with red dots because they are intended for close range and any inaccuracy resulting from how the optic is mounted won't matter much at that distance.
Just curious, thanks! |
