How well, if at all, does the Aimpoint outer rubber cover fit a Comp ML2?  The only time I see them they are installed on the M3's.  Since I have never seen an M3 in person I have no idea how similar or different it is from the ML2.  I would like to pick up one of these covers for my ML2 but not if it is going to fit loose w/ gaps.  TIA for any help.

They fit the same.  By all accounts they are the same optic except for the waterproofing and the 2 MOA dot.
I do not like them and they are not needed.

+1

I tried it out on my ML3, and it made it bulky and silly looking.

I spose it may make sence if you have a tan rifle and want to use the tan cover on the Aimpoint (so you dont have to paint it) but the aimpoint is a durable optic, and the rubber cover just makes turning the power switch, changing the batteries or zeroing it harder.

If you really want one, it should work fine on the M2/ML2 though.

Yep it'll fit fine. I think whether or not you'll like it is very subjective. I use mine but agree that it's ugly.
