I was at Academy and saw a BSA red dot, weaver mount, flashlight and lazer combo. It's only $120. Has anybody got one and what do you think. It seemed a bit big to me, but for $120 it seems like a good buy

I had a cheap red dot sight once. Didn't use it very hard and it broke.

I wouldn't buy a BSA red dot sight.

I had both a BSA red dot and a BSA laser. They were both junk... Both broke quickly and ended up in the parts bin. Waste of money. Save it for something better.

Looks like I'll stay away from BSA.

They are ok for Airsoft. They are not rugged enough for the pounding they get from AR use...

i bought the optic you are talking about. took it to the range once and it kept wiggling itself loose. a little loctite should do the trick. the overall construction seemed pretty good. i thought the diaphragm lens covers were pretty cool. however, it just wasn't what i was looking for, so i took it back.

It'd be a poor use of your money if it were $12.
