Ok, I need an optic for a 20" midweight SPRish build.   Right now I am using a Trijicon ACOG TA33 on the rifle, but I have decided to move the ACOG to a 16" flat top I am building.

Here's what I am looking for.  I would like a 1" tube, with mag range in the 2-8, 3-9, or 3-10 range.  I would also like finger adjustable turrets, but they do not have to be exposed.  I prefer a mil-dot reticle, but also like the Burris Ballistic Plex.  Scope does not have to have an AO or illuminated reticle. Price needs to be less than $4-500, and must be from a reputable company.

Any suggestions?

I just put a Leupold VXIII 2.5-8x36 on my 16in rifle and I am quite pleased with it.  It has a 1 inch tube.

I think the Leupold Mk 2 Series meet your specs––mildot, 3-9X40, 1" tube, target turrets, $500, etc. I have the predecessor, the Mk 4, "PR" series which was marketed as a "budget" Mk 4, which is how the Mk 2 is pushed.  I sure like mine, and the reviews on the Mk 2 have been very good.

Burris Fullfield II Tactical also fits the bill; link below

I have the Nikon Buckmaster  with side focus and mil-dot reticle. The glass is really clear, and I have been really happy with it. Around $250. It's on a 20" RRA Coyote Rifle with many mods.

Yeah, I think the FFII tactical would work perfectly...

Anyone know an online vendor carrying the scope who also accepts PayPal?

What about a Trijicon Accupoint?  3-9X40 seems like it'd kick ass.
