Has anyone run the Wilson BUIS? If so, what did you think of it? I have had Arms 40 and Arms 40L and I am ready to try something else. This 16" carbine will have an optic (probably a 1.25-4 Accupoint) thrown on it. It is a duty weapon and will have to fill in at the Knob Creek Assault Rifle comp too. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Wilson Ut15 coming. I have tried some others (colts, bushies and parts guns), but I have never had a Wilson. Thought I would try it (quicker delivery than anyone else with the current political climate). I have been a gun dealer since 1989, but there is much I can learn from others.
I did not order the sights, but was wondering. I have not been impressed with the ARMS 40 and 40L. The gun will be scoped (can't decide on the glass, but I am leaning toward the Burris 1-4X or the Trijicon Accupoint 1.25-4). Two years ago, while at the fall Knob Creek Shoot, I had the opportunity to look through one (though I never shot with one) and found it to be a pretty sharp scope for the amount invested. I am always open to recommendations. I guess I will most likely start with a Troy and see what I think. Thanks for all input! |
