I have an A2 receiver and normally like open sight.  I would, however, like a scope for occasional long range target practice.

I know they make mounts that attach to the carry handle but how do these work in real life.  The scope wound be mounted much higher than normal and I don't want to spend the money only to realize I need a neck 12" long.

Thanks.

For an armchair purist, it will be too high.
In reality, for occasional use, it should suit you just fine.
ARMS makes a fine one.

BTW, more than a few vendors sell removable cheek risers for the A2 and
collapsible stocks to remedy the cheek weld issue.

Good Luck

Thanks.  Mines multi-purpose and I shoot from a bench only 50% of the time.

If interested I'll sell it for $40 + shipping of say $5.

Good Luck
