Hi all,
I have decided to get an Aimpoint Comp ML3 2MOA. for my 16" Mid-length build - Flatop upper and YHM rifle length Lightweight FF handguard.

I have Front and Rear folding BUIS's. The Larue LT-129 cantelever mount looks nice - incase I decide on a Magnifier later on.

any reason why I would not want to use a standard ring mount (30mm) like a Burris Xtreme tactical mounts and mount the aimpoint on the handguard? I do see most tend to stay on the upper itself. But the FF Handguard is pretty solid in relation to the upper.

Quick release and return to zero. Also, proper height.

Buy a LaRue mount and put it on the upper receiver where it is less likely to shift (thus changing the zero), unlike if you place it on the handguards.

Thank's, I think I will go with the Larue LT-129 Cantelever mount - Just incase I want to add a Magnifier in the future.
