I've not seen this on anything around, but it looks like a decent option. Anyone handle one before? I'm gonna try to head up to the Bass Pro to see if they got one to check out, but if anyone has first hand experience please chime in.

Here's a link to one.  http://www.swfa.com/pc-1557-260-zeiss-z-point-reflex-sight.aspx

I was interested too, but never able to find one to fondle...I wasn't taking the Cabela's field trip, either.  I am really surprised they are not more popular.

Just buy one of the re-furbs from SWFA, look it over, and send it back un-mounted if you don't like.

They are great to work with.  I just went through a ring swap with them.  More than pleasant to work with...no BS client service.

I've got some Zeiss binos that are the cat's ass.  Love' em.

My buddy Bill has one that he absolutely loves on a 10.5" AR.  The solar panel does work as advertised and it is nice clear glass as you would expect from anything with the Zeiss name on it.

Yeh but the view is a little small on it. I messed with one on a P90TR and it was like looking through an electronic version of the stock sight (it actually worked.) I didnt have a problem with it but dont think you are going to put it out by your front sight and be happy with it.

I had one of the early, aluminum bodied ones.  It was a demo a manager at Bass Pro shops had gotten from Zeiss, didn't like on his bow, and then sold to me on Ebay.

VERY clear glass.  Mine was the weaver rail variant, and it apparemtly didn't match up well with the pic rail AR I had, because I seemed to have some POI shift. Then again, it was a used optic.

I didn't like the "one button does all" feature, either.

I think if more people tried them, they would lke them.  the factory "quick on/off" mount was very cool.

Thanks for the info, I still haven't gotten a chance to check one out, but I'm sure i will when the gun gets in its final stages. It does seem like it has all the features so it's up on my list.
