| I am totally in the dark regarding night vision optics and was wondering what kind of investment I might be looking at getting into with a night vision scope. The primary purpose would be for night hunting, coyotes more specifically out to about 200 yards. I know there are quite a few generations of these optics available and like anything else its a "bring money" kind of game. I'm not a rich man. |

To really see in the dark sorta speak and your range requirements means a minimum of a Gen 2 device. The D-740 in a Gen 2 MS configuration is probably the least you can spend to really see and engage at the distance you require. These run a $1900.00.
