I was just wondering if anyone knew of a fixed front sight/gas block that instead of having the three posts was curved HK-style. I've found plenty of folding one's, but I'm looking for fixed.

Centurion Arms makes HK style diopter sights that are the correct height for AR15's and such. If you only want the front sight, you may be able to get ahold of one, i dont know if they sell them seperatly or not. They are a picatinny mounted system though, so you would have to get a free floating handguard, or a picatinny railed gas block that sits at the same height as the reciever. But as for a dedicated front sight base that has the hooded front post like HK sights, i dont think there is too much. |

| Yah, I saw those a Rainer. The dael is I have the Vltor extended carbine length rail system so it has the cut out on top for your FSB and just attaching a sight to the rail kinda elimunates the point of having all that. I really like PRIs offering, but I really wanted a fixed front sight instead of flip up because I never let mine down anyway and I believe the fixed fronts are stronger allowing me rifle-whip people when I do drive-by bayonet charges with my EBR.... |
| I see what you're asking. you're looking for a fixed front sight block with an HK front sight. Not a sight that needs to be attached to a rail system. right? I havn't seen anything like that, but I'll keep an eye out. Your best bet may be getting a railed gas block and then attaching a fixed sight like you want. |
I believe you are correct, I can't find anything like what I want... what I wouldn't give for a CNC machine....

No kidden eh? I dont spose selling the Vltor rail and getting a new full length one is an option? I know thats a lot of work to get a different front sight style. |
