[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aimpoint Micro height question/mount

If I just got an Aimpoint micro by itself, NIB, how does it mount? Is it high enough to co-witness with iron sights on the AR? I assume that getting a LaRue mount places it so that you have a 1/3 lower co-witness.

You want the Larue high mount for lower 1/3 co-witness.

It will be way too low on an AR with factory mount.

Yep. Find a vendor that does a good package deal on the Micro and the mount. Angula on Ebay is doing them right now. Use the 30% off deal that's talked about on this forum.

What is this 30% off thing?

So far, on Ebay I can only find a Micro H-1 with a La Rue mount - no T-1s with laRue mounts, though.
