i have a aimpoint on my A2 mounted like that but its mounted a a 4rail HG vs the gooseneck, and is a little lower it looks like,

mine will cowitness fine.

perhaps the gooseneck makes it too high??

Do you have a spacer installed in your QRP mount? If so, take it out.

No, I don't have the spacer installed. I'm going to take pictures of my actual rifle later so you guys can see if I did something wrong. And here I was all excited about using my Aimpoint again since I switched from an A3 to an A1 upper.

Why would they make this mount/site combo if it wasn't meant to co witness? I feel like I'm missing something???

I got one of those $20 goose neck & it also wouldn't co-witness My red dot. (Too high).

I'm Too cheap to buy a good gooseneck

I've got an A2, an Aimpoint gooseneck, a QRP mount (no spacer) and a Comp M2. It works like it is supposed to. The dot is right on the tip of the front sight post. I'll try to get some pictures up.

It's a real Aimpoint CompM2. If I'm not mistaken only Aimpoint makes the QRP right? And I'm also pretty sure the goose neck mount is Aimpoint. Aren't they the only ones that make that style mount with just the one notch cut into it for the QRP mount to attach to?

beats me but i had a non surefire goose neck which did just that, made i a little too high to cowitness.
