[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ATN scopes

What info. does anyone have on this brand of scope. i like the 3x that mounts on the carry handle. Thanks for any replys.

I once had an ATN 5x33 scope. Before I bought it, all I read about it on the boards was "great optic", "clear glass", "1/8 inch adjustments at 100yds", and similar praises. When I got it, I was appalled by the "fisheye" distortion. Sold the scope in a heartbeat.

The $20 clone scopes from China were better in my eyes because they at least had a flat image.

Anyway, after that experience, I've never even glanced at an ATN scope again.

I had a 5x33 also. It lived happily, if not outstandingly, on a .223 for years. I then put it on a .308 and the reticle started turning in 3 shots.

They make good mid range optic's and very good high end optics..

What?

With very few exceptions, I've yet to see good, or very good Chinese or Russian scopes.
