| I read a thread quite a while ago on some Troy BUIS's canting. I just received a great condition, older 2R model that, sigh, happens to cant. What is the final word on the issue? How will the cant affect obtaining a good zero? |
| I think the issue was caused by the piece that tightens down on the side. Look at their website and see if the ones (the bases) look like the one you have. If not, If you call them, I believe they will send you a replacement piece (just the part that clamps to your rail) to fix the cant. |
Blake, that would be great. I took a look on Troy's site, and the clamp is definately different. Where did you hear they would replace it? |
Everytime I've had a problem with any AR part I have bought, I have contacted the dealer/manufacturer and had absolutely zero problem getting it taken care of. I've even had parts sent to me and all they asked was that I send the defective part back when the replacement showed up. There are a few places out there that have earned customers for life. |

The screw and clamp arrived today, and corrected the issue completely. Great service, and it didn't matter to Troy that I bought the BUIS used. Your're right, Blake; customer for life. Shoot2, Contact Troy.
