I am about to build a 16" carbine. i am going to get it with a flattop upper so i can mount some kind low powered optics(2-4). I really like the Trijicon ACOG scopes, but i absolutely HATE the price. Here is where i need help. if you plan to post up something along the lines of "the only scope out there is the ~$1k ACOG on a LaRue mount, etc, etc. otherwise, it just wont work." im sure i would have a great optics setup going this route, but i dont want to spend $1500 for optics on a $500 plinker. I do run high end Nikons on my hunting rifles and i will be building a AR geared towards varmint hunting in the near future which will get a similar Nikon scope. however, right now I am looking to get a Trijicon clone, or something that has the same looks as the Trijicon ACOGs, for a reasonable price. Im hoping $200 at the most. Anyone got a suggestion or website where i can find such a scope? |
| i have looked there and assume THIS is the ACOG, but they show no pictures of it. i want to see pictures of this thing. |
