I just got an ML2 and I cannot see the dot until setting #4 this is even in total darkness, could this be a weak battery or is this normal. Sorry if this question has been asked I've been searching and couldnt find anything. Thankyou

I can barely see the dot on my ML2 on the second setting. By the 4th setting in a dark room it's quite visible.
I'm not sure when I replaced my battery but my ML2 is about 2.5 years old and I've replaced it once.

That's how mine is, with new batteries. They are NV settings IIRC.
The only usable settings (for me) in daylight are the last 2-3 settings.

The only usable daytime settings, on ANY Aimpoint is the top 3. You will use them 99.8% of the time.
