How does everyone sight their aimpoints?  At 30 feet my aimpoint is hitting about 5 inches low.  Which seems really low.  How does everyone sight theres in?

you should be sighting in at 50yds, 36yds, or at least 25yds, not 30ft

Here are some zeroing options

there's some reading for you

I'm not sighting at 30 feet, I shot at 30 feet and its low.  I had sighted at 25 yards using the IBZ but I don't think I did it right.

Height over bore at 30 ft. is about 3" correct?  Not sure where the other 2" are coming from...

2.5"-2.6" is height over bore. If you sight in at 50 yards it will become less and less till its dead on at 50 and then go a bit over an inch high at 100 and then cross again at 200.  There is no way possible to be more than 2.5" off from the muzzle to over 200 yards.  Your Aimpoint may be a bottom 1/3 cowitness depending on mount.  THen you may be like 2.75" height over bore.  You CANNOT get to even 3" off the reticle to over 200 yards.

Sight in your Aimpoint at 50 yards and be done with it.  Know your hold over for 25 yards and in shooting.  You wont be more than 1.5" high or low from there at any range youd actually want to shoot.

How is the sight mounted on the weapon?  On a flat top your sights are roughly 2.5" above your bore.  If you have the Aimpoint on a carryhandle then 4-5" is possible.

Use a 50 yd zero and try to keep your sight as low to the bore as possible.

Its on an A3 receiver mounted in a LaRue mount with bottom 1/3 cowitness.

I will zero it in at 50 yards hopefully this weekend.

Yes, a 50yd POI will be the best.  You will have minimal offset and match the ballistics of the round the best.  The trajeectory will cross your line of sight at 50 & roughly 200 yards.
