Does anyone elses MI rail mount front BUIS not fold correctly when mounted?

Looks like thei quality peice I bought on the EE needs filing.

THis is 4, count 1-2-3-4, my 4rth burn on the EE in a M-fn row.

Please do not sell me your junk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I have to file on it or work on it to make it bolt onto an AR do not sell it too me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One hours worth of filing and it really works now..

Why does everything I have got to be custom fitted in some way. Nothing ever just goes together without some issues.

Haha sounds like you've got the same luck I have.  Everything I have bought on the EE works though

LOL

After I pay to have this thing refinished I will have 1.5 the cost of a new BUIS in it.

1rst the #38 swan sleeve had a crack/dent from a HEAVY impact that caused the release lever to stick in place. If finally broke after a little use. Apparently the person who sold it too me thought that the lever is supposed to nearly poke your eye out. And obviously they forgot that it got hit by a sledge hammer or got dropped off a 40 story building.

2nd the #19LD was sold to me in DArk earth. You would think that someone would mention the not normal looking color.

3rd seller ripped 3 others off as well on some pouches.

4th    my super custom MI rail sight.

Im kind of pissed. I have had this upper for 5 weeks and have yet to pushase the right BUIS. All the sporting goods stores around me selling nothng but deer hunting stuff. if you mention BUIS they look at you like a circus animal.

Im fixing to throw this upper in the creek. Nothing is worth this much work and worry.
All I want is a good front BUIS that does the following:
1- DOES NOT WIGGLE in the up or down postion
2- Actually functions when bolted to gun.
3- spring loaded with quick opening much like the ARMS 40.
4. Has ample metal surrounding the post (YHM and troy fail in this dept)

This is obviously way too much to ask of any MFG.
ARMS might get it right but I am waiting on there rail mount front BUIS. Its going to be months before the normal BUIS/gas block is avaliable. THen they will have to make a gas block mount then maybe they are get around to be rail mounted version. Maybe.

I'm either way too picky, really pissed, or need to open my own parts MFG plant.

I like ARMS sights and all (I have a #40A2 rear), but for a front BUIS, ya just can't beat a Troy, in my book. Both fit on my MI rail perfectly.

ETA: I feel your pain about the EE, too. The times I have sold something, I have tried to be as honest about it as I could be. I know what it's like to get shafted, and I don't want to shit anybody out of their hard-earned money, even if it's unintentional.

Okay. So which MI sight do you have?

What rail are you mounting it on?

I use a rail mounted MI sight and it works as advertised with no problems what-so-ever..  Maybe give MI a email or call.  It could be the rail?
