If you use optics on a flat top receiver and a FSB, do you see the front sight base when sighting through the optics?

Noticed pictures of issue weapons have optics and FSBs. If you see the FSB, must be acceptable - correct?

the fsb doesn't really interfere with the optic. just one of those things where it kinda blurs out and you don't pay much attention.
