Went to the range on Sunday hit the button on my EoTech and I could barley see the reticle. It was sunny out side but I dont remimber if it was that dim on power up before. When I turned it to the brightest setting I could see it in the blue sky and it would only wash out when getting close to the sun. I did not have another to see them side byside for comparison. Actualy I could hardly tell it was on when I first turned it on had to hit the up button a couple of times to see it. I also noticed the reticle is slightly dimer on the far left of the screen then on the right. I may be just being hyper sensitive but thought I would ask anyway before bugging EoTech.

how old is your EOTech, you might have a wore out diode....it might require replacement.

Did you try putting some fresh batteries in and cleaning up the connectors?  If that does not fix it, then it sounds like a trip home to the factory is in order.

It is under a year. N type-- batteries were put in a few months ago do not have fresh at the moment. It does not flash low. I just can't remimber how it should look on a sunny day on power up can you see the reticle?. May be ok it just seems it was brighter before.
