| I'm looking for a scope for my M4 16" tot length barrel. Does anyone use this ACOG? IYOP how is the eye relief? will my front sight come into view?? Also looking for any other recommendations...Thanks |

ACOGs are one of the best optics for an AR platform. The eye relief is a little short on the TA01 and the TA31 but it really is not a big deal. If you do not plan on shooting past 400 meters you can use any of the ACOGS even if they say they are set up for a 20in. You will not see your front sight post if you do it will look like a slight blur. You will most likely not notice it. Other optic I can recommend: Leupold MR/T 1.5-5x24mm MeOpta K-Dot Nightforce 1-4x and I highly recommend getting it with the Zero Stop turret. I have had zero issues with eye relief or the front sight. Even if you are focusing on the front sight, at worst, can be described as an extremely faint blur about the width of a toothpick. In other words, it's a total non-issue -- this is a great optic. BTW, I've made a couple purchases from Mike, including my TA31RCO-M4, and would give him my highest recommendation. |
