Please recommend me an reasonably priced 3x or 4x scope made to mount on an A2 carry handle. Thanks... |

There are the common Chinese brand 4x scopes available in $50 range. Purchase at your own risk. Some people like them. The original Colt 3x and 4x scopes were made (I believe) by Hakko and can be found on the EE sometimes, or places like Fleabay. Although Hakko is re-orged into a different company, their 4x scopes can be sometimes be found locally or at closeout sites. They follow the pattern of the original Colt scopes including a BDC dial. They had a either a non-illuminated duplex or sort of a 4A with a dot, illuminated. I have had one of the latter for several years and its a nice solid scope. The center dot is a little large, I'm guessing 5 moa??? These can still be found for about $130 at local stores. A US company, Combat Military Optics, is selling what looks like the Hakko scope with the duplex under their name from their website. The prices are a bit higher, but I've heard they may give you a deal if you ask. You can always get a quality carry handle mount and pick up a regular scope, but beware of eye relief and clearance issues. |
DING-DING-DING!!! We have a winner. Thanks man |
